40 Days To Better Living - Diabetes

This book provides a daily inspiration to allow oneself to stay focused as well as to maintain balance within one's life.  There will obviously be days when things will not go as planned and this journal will allow a person to see the reality of a day, week or months event and then allow the individual to make adjustments accordingly.

The author describes how diabetes will take one outside of their comfort zone yet God is there where they are to encourage and help along the way.

There are many scriptures used throughout the book, giving one daily inspiration to encourage and push one on to victory.

I feel this is a very well written, encouraging and inspiring book that anyone with diabetes could benefit from.

Guide to speed study techniques including speed reading and memorization

This was a very insightful book that gave helpful information concerning how to best study with comprehension.
It divides the book into the following sections:  effective note-taking, reading well and memorization.
It helps to better understand that great note-taking isn't just writing down what the speaker is saying rather the purpose of taking notes is distillation and synthesis.  Also, mentioned is a software program Evernote which I have downloaded and will try as a result of reading this material.
I would give this a 5 star review.  I have received this book free from Hyperink Publishing for a non-bias review.

Nuggets of Insight

While this is a very short and to the point booklet, it does give some very good
advice and insight as to what one should consider when going to yard/garage and
estate sales.
Also included are some nice web-sites that will provide some additional information
concerning some items that might be of interest.
I like the story about being honest and when someone found $15,000.00 and returned it.
I would like to see additional material about this subject in greater detail concerning
products, manners, and examples of nuggets of worth found at a sale.

Creative and Quick Points

I enjoyed reading this quick booklet on how to find a freelance job as a writer.
While there are many good and interesting points that one could find helpful, I do
wish it was a little longer and offered more details or maybe additional web-sites to
look at.
However, with that said, I did really like the fact that deadlines and delivering what
one promises are without excuse. There is great truth here as one who meets the deadlines
and does so with high standards and quality products will succeed.

When I began this book I laughed out loud several times as I thought what Phil was saying was incredibly funny.
Maybe as I continued I got use to some of his encounters or maybe I was stretched to think deeper about being honest
and how that plays out in life.
I felt like this was a very well written book, one that allowed the reader insight into Phil's life as well as the
opportunity to see oneself and see how honest and forthright one truly is.
I'm not sure I would want to write a book as such, but glad Phil did.

Great Material, May 18, 2012

While I agree with the previous review that I think $7.99 would be too much to pay for a download, I received my copy free. I really enjoyed the material as it gave a QUICK overview of things to expect as well as how to avoid some common mistakes. It was certainly worth my investment of time to read.

 Disappointing May 13, 2012

This author certainly posts many questions as to the vitality of marriage and why it is or isn't working in western society. However, I feel while there are many scriptures given, that it distracts from the true biblical meaning of marriage and thus left me disappointed in the writing and not a book that I would want to keep in my library.

However, with that said, within the content of the book itself there is some very helpful information. Some of
this helpful information was; how to set up a home office according to the IRS, how to beware of scams, how to
find trustworthy companies to work for and how to make sure working from home is for you.

Out of this world FANTASTIC!!!!
Finally a book that is simple, yet filled with great advice and insight.
I really like how Ashton dealt with many of the common areas where germs lie
that go unnoticed or thought of by many people.
While we shouldn't become obsessed we MUST give careful consideration to being
as healthy as possible without going overboard.

Quicklet on Norman Vincent Peale's The Power of Positive Thinking
I really liked reading this Quicklet version of one of the greatest books that has has stood the test of time.
Joseph Taglieri did a fantastic job in giving a great overview of the material, pointing out various highlights and truths found within.
I was reminded from Dr. Peale that doing nothing is the same as stagnation.  That was a very deep and powerful thought that has challenged me to make sure I am moving forward in a positive manner.

I absolutely loved this book!!!! This was a book that I didn't want to put down. I desired to follow the characters (especially Kyle and Sara) and how they would handle their past issues. I enjoyed the drama of the courtroom and the judge. I also appreciated the honesty of the defendant (Justin) as he dealt with his past as well as his present and future.
I look forward for additional material from these authors.
